I have used the Smart Weigh scale all over the house for everything from weighing out food, to calculating postage, and measuring the weight of jewelry. I have another scale that looks just like it and they both always give me the exact same values — extremely precise and highly accurate.
My wife is a professional esthetician and the Combination Towel Warmer Cabinet and UV Sterilizer unit was the perfect choice for her practice. It’s roomy, allowing plenty of storage space for warm towels, and you also have the added bonus of UV sterilization should you choose to utilize that aspect of the warmer. This cabinet fits perfectly on a nice folding TV stand and doesn’t get hot and heat up the entire treatment room!
I’m not a vain person but a hair hanging out of your nose in the middle of a business meeting could break the deal. The Panasonic ER-GN30-K trimmer works great, a lot better than a pair of scissors or tweezers. Gets in the nose, ear, even along the edges of your hair. Takes only one AA battery. It didn’t tickle or pull nose hairs like some others I’ve used. This one is great because the tip is more closed up which helps protect you from getting nicked.
I always need to sharpen my pencils, I am forever buying various electric sharpeners. My latest sharpener is the X-Acto XLR 1818 Electric Pencil Sharpener and it sharpens really well. Although It can be a little loud. Because it is electric, the power and strength of the sharpener is always consistent. I far prefer electric sharpeners over battery powered ones.
I tested the Rain-X Repel Premium Bracketless Wiper Blades over a 6 months ago for my Lexus. From a survey company. I didn’t believe all the claims, boy was I wrong they live up to their statement. Used them for 6 months, rain just beads up on them, no need for winter blades. Liked them so much bought some for my explorer did a great job all around even on the back window and some of you know that is a problem on some suv’s. Can’t say enough they are a bit costly but well worth it after all. Just bought the second set for my Lexus I am a believer.
This iron replaces one of the radio shack style. I have had a number of other butane soldering irons before, and hated them. They were very difficult to light, the tended to go out, they leaked butane quickly when off, so you had to fill it before each use. This one, so far, has none of these problems.
And MAN! what a great difference the Weller ML500MP Mini Butane Soldering Iron one makes. It fires up with ease. No more flicking the bic to get the iron going. Heats up fast and is ready to solder in just a min. Gets hot quickly, wide amount of adjustment, reliable ignition, this is the absolute best of the dozen or so pen soldering iron brands Ive tested. Cools down pretty fast too.
I love hiking so I was in the market for a new backpack. I would always pick an internal frame backpack. I’m a quite big guy so I need a big pack. The TETON Sports Scout3400 is a big pack. Fits me nicely. I like the padded waist belt holds it comfortably in place. This pack was remarkably lightweight when it arrived.
There is ample storage for a weekend trip, and I suppose longer if you pack smart. The sleeping bag compartment was large enough to hold my Teton Trailhead 20 sleeping bag without a problem.
The Dremel 4000 is a great little tool that does an awesome job at keeping up with the work load. It is very versatile. No major complaints as of yet. The tool is surprisingly heavy and is pretty big. It makes it hard to do some of the finer projects I was wanting to do because it’s weight and size makes it awkward to handle. I recommend getting the workstation/drill press to hold the tool while you use the flex shaft attachment. You can use the flex shaft without mounting the tool, but it gets in the way and moves around on the bench while working.
The only thing I did notice is when the handle attachment is on the unit then it seems to get rather warm and the hot air tends to leak out and blow on your hand which can get pretty hot. My wife enjoys it almost as much as I do.
I needed a lamp for my office so had a look around at what was on offer. I decided I would go for a bankers lamp. I pick the Normande Lighting BL1-103 Bankers lamp and in my opinion its a great bankers lamp. I have it in my office and receive nothing but compliments on it.
It uses a 60 watt bulb so you have plenty of light to work with. It looks elegant on my desk and gives off just the right amount of light. Definitely worth the money, and looks like you paid a lot more for it.
The Black & Decker LST136 is my first battery operated strimmer and I am impressed. I previously had a plug in one which was quiet but lacked power and of course had the cord to drag around. I upgraded to a gas powered model a few years ago, which gave me power and no cord, but came with the cost of being hard starting, loud, smelly, and a lot of arm numbing vibration. The LST136 is the best of both models, without the drawbacks. And all I could say was “Wow!” when I used it. Mind you my yard had not been touched up until this last week and it went through everything I ask it to with not a hitch on the lowest setting.
